Simple Clothes for Men – Part 3

Or– This is why Cyrelian is not a regular model.

He hates it so much.

So– I had finally demanded that he show me that Thalmor dress code in situ, and he hemmed and hawed around till I went to find Erdi. She got it for me. And we looked it up. So. Since we’re not actually on duty, right now, are we– all we have to do is ensure that the clothing is appropriately modest.

Really, Cyrelian– it’s nothing that we can’t accommodate.

I heard a lot of complaining, but none about the actual clothes. I knew he was jealous when I gave that cloak to Marcus.

So then:

I encouraged him to take a look at the detailing on that collar and cuffs. And– as an added bonus, it’s summer formal wear for Alinor.  Lightweight trousers, a gossamer-weight cloak, and no boots. Perfection.

We’ll start with the purple, since it’s nice and sedate:

See, Cyrelian? We listen.

A few more colors:

No more? We want to quit?

But…

We can make it worse, you know.

Cyrelian assures us that no one is afraid of pink in Alinor.

He likes the green best, himself:

Okay, we’re done.

All right?

Pack up, we’re going home.

Finally.

Wait.

Erdi says she found something that’s in the approved colorway, perhaps you could wear it on duty? She says she’s pretty sure that it covers everything important.

Hmm..mhm.

You’re… cold.

I don’t know why she’s laughing. I mean, Marcus got through an entire photoshoot without even complaining in this thing..

Don’t be such a prima donna!

Erdi is still laughing.

Wait. Where are the two of you going?

We still have another outfit…

Dashing Spellsword.

Marcus says ain’t no way, ain’t no how that this belongs to somebody at the Thalmor Embassy. Did it maybe get left behind in the Third Embassy’s antechamber after one of those parties?

It doesn’t matter. Marcus is keeping it.

… And here we have Dar’mazhan wearing Wandering Spellsword.

And back to the lab–

Dashing Spellsword and Scholarly Mage.

Apparently Cyrelian has stuff to do. Marance is so demanding.

Moonlight Assassin.

And I got Marcus to behave. I said if he wasn’t good, I wouldn’t let him model any of the rest of it.  He was good.

Dashing Spellsword– look at that cloak clasp, woah.

The Scholarly Mage, and I can tell that Cyrelian is finally happy with me…

Erdi and Cyrelian- Serious Conversation

These were just some more shots I took when I was fooling around trying to get Erdi set up. It’s also confirming that Cyrelian is just no good as a model; he has no affinity for it. Cyrelian is an NPC in these shots.

I did find a pesky error I had made with Cyr’s eyes and fixed it, though, so I’m happy. He had a missing texture and the whites of his eyes were too purple, earlier. Glad I found it.

Let’s see–Erdi’s outfit is from Grand Magister’s Rainment by Refurb Madness and retextures at Grand Magister Robes Rextextured  by  I believe Cyr’s fancy blue robe with the shoulder feathers is from Apachii; the other outfits are from The Well Dressed Mage.

Cyrelian- Journeyman Healer Robes

So far I have tapped Alfgar, Ahtar, an unnamed orc, and Marcus the badly behaved to model armors, but I haven’t used Cyrelian or Erdi much. That’s an oversight.

Cyrelian the Doleful is in Journeyman Healer by RefurbMadness.  Erdi’s dress is probably Apachii Divine Elegance; but it looks like she’s borrowed his beautiful cloak.

Cyrelian and Cyranrir

I had to wonder what those mer must have been like, at the very end of the 3d era– the ones who within a couple of decades changed everything about the Altmer social structure and government.  Even after the shock of Crystal-like-law, that had to have been one hell of an effort.

This is Cyranrir, my protagonist Cyrelian’s father. If I had to hazard a guess, I would say this shot is from early in the Oblivion Crisis before they knew just how bad things would get.

He’s been deceased about three decades at the beginning of Cyrelian’s story, so this meeting never would have occured.

Heavy armor is Robbie’s Fireglass Armory and the green armor is my green recolor of Thalmor Armory.
