Erdi and the bad hair day

I am feeling peevish because I cannot persuade KS hair to build head parts in CK properly so that Erdi-the-NPC does not have bald patches visible in the spots where her hair is parted.   Sadly I had gotten her completely correct on the first try but for the odd appearance of the hair– and then I saw the same issues to a lesser extent on the PC I made to model Erdi.

So, she is likely to get new hair soon. Too bad, I liked this ‘do while it lasted.

Cyrelian- Journeyman Healer Robes

So far I have tapped Alfgar, Ahtar, an unnamed orc, and Marcus the badly behaved to model armors, but I haven’t used Cyrelian or Erdi much. That’s an oversight.

Cyrelian the Doleful is in Journeyman Healer by RefurbMadness.  Erdi’s dress is probably Apachii Divine Elegance; but it looks like she’s borrowed his beautiful cloak.

Orcs are not very sexy

Well, maybe this one is.

I may have to come up with a name at some point, but these were just some shots I took to play around with a new house mod and some pants.

The pants are from Skybroom and the armor in the last shot is me working on a green recolor of the Thalmor Armory.

Erdi

Erdi is an important person in Cyrelian’s story and she deserved some changes. I’m still fussing over her. She’s rather an unusual looking character, but very elegant once the dirt and smudging is gone…

Above is the first idea that I had for her; below is the custom texture that I’ve been working out slowly. It’s adapted from some poor terrified waifu that I deconstructed, probably one of the Bijins.  Makeup is Kai’s; the tattoo is… well, I’m not sure. It’s likely Empyrean Warpaint. The skin texture above I’m not sure about, it came packaged with BD Hoodie Schlongs, of all things.

In the below shot, you’re looking at a PC as I haven’t finished making her yet. There’s still some sculpting to do and I need to grab the makeup and paint it onto her diffuse map. I figure a palace maid probably wears a little makeup. I greatly dislike tintmasks.

Cyrelian and Cyranrir

I had to wonder what those mer must have been like, at the very end of the 3d era– the ones who within a couple of decades changed everything about the Altmer social structure and government.  Even after the shock of Crystal-like-law, that had to have been one hell of an effort.

This is Cyranrir, my protagonist Cyrelian’s father. If I had to hazard a guess, I would say this shot is from early in the Oblivion Crisis before they knew just how bad things would get.

He’s been deceased about three decades at the beginning of Cyrelian’s story, so this meeting never would have occured.

Heavy armor is Robbie’s Fireglass Armory and the green armor is my green recolor of Thalmor Armory.
